Zugerberg-and Madlochbahn NEW!!

modern-safe-fast-warm

After more than 50 years of service, the two chairlifts are retiring. From the winter season 2021/22, they will be replaced by two ultra-modern lifts with which skiers in Lech Zürs can start their unique winter fun on the Arlberg even faster and more comfortably. Thanks to the perfectly coordinated timing of the two new lifts, waiting times can also be effectively avoided
The Zugerberg and Madloch lifts are well known to every winter sports enthusiast. On the one hand as a central connection between Lech / Oberlech, Zürs and Zug. On the other hand, because of the associated, spectacular ski runs.

The new construction of the Madlochbahn means a quantum leap in the ski connection between Zürs and Lech as well as for the legendary Weißer Ring ski circuit
and RUN of FAME.
The mountain station of the new Zugerbergbahn and the gondola station of the valley station are completely underground. Thus, the wonderful landscape can be admired in all its splendor.

The new Schindlergatgondola lift

unlimited skiing fun in the Valluga area

After 40 successful years of operation, we replaced the 3-seater chairlift connecting Arlenmähdern and the Schindlergrat – our Schindlergratbahn – at the end of the last winter season. A truly modern monocable gondola lift with 68 gondolas, each with space for up to ten passengers, is going to replace the previous unit.
The starting point of the new gondola lift will be positioned about 30 metres south of the former valley station, providing an easy link to the existing pistes.
Also up on the mountain, the new gondola lift is providing stunning new and extremely attractive options: while the route will stay the same, the former mountain station of the 3-seater chairlift will be replaced by a middle stop. As a result, our passengers will be able to get out and use one of our many slopes from this point.
You can also continue for another 420 metres north-east towards the new mountain station, close to the exit point of the Valluga T-bar lift. This place is a remarkably attractive starting point as you can either ski the Schindlergrat and Mattun pistes or the Valfagehr.
