From 8.1.22 the quarantine rules are relaxed
From January 8th, the current quarantine rules will be significantly relaxed.
In future there will no longer be a distinction between contact persons in category 1 and 2, only the term “contact person”.
In the future, people who have been triple immunized will no longer be considered contact persons even if they come into contact with an infected person.
Even if everyone involved wore an FFP2 mask, one is no longer classified as a contact person.
This also applies to children who are not yet able to boost themselves (for 5 to 11 year olds).
If you are a contact person, you can test yourself using a PCR test on the fifth day, previously this was only possible from the tenth day.
In the case of people who have tested positive, the period of segregation will apply uniformly for ten days, and a free test is possible after five days. Here, too, a distinction is no longer made between virus variants.
