The Arlberg trail

The Arlberg Trail – Across all mountains

The sporty long-distance hiking trail Arlberg Trail connects all five Arlberg villages Lech, Zürs, Stuben,

St. Christoph and St. Anton. In three stages and with the help of cable cars, a total of 40 km of hiking trails in a spectacular alpine landscape can be mastered.

The signposted circular hiking trail covers a total length of 50 kilometers, almost a fifth of which is covered by cable cars. Ideally, you start in St. Anton, Lech or Stuben in a clockwise direction, so that the routes and cable car rides are perfectly intertwined.

If you don’t want to complete the entire tour, you can also choose individual stages or easier alternative routes.

detective trail

Attention detectives: who can crack the riddle?

There are 14 stations distributed over the entire place where there are riddles to be cracked. The exciting trail starts at the tourist office in St. Anton am Arlberg.

The first station is at the hiking board in the park. The route continues via Getrud-Gabl-Platz and the museum, back to the old train station, on to Arlen Castle and via the church and the Old Thönihaus to the destination, which is again at the starting point at the tourist office. In between there are other well-known locations along the circular route.

The four-digit solution code can be calculated once all the puzzles have been successfully solved. With the right code, a little surprise awaits all successful detectives at the end. The detective trail is suitable for adults and children who can already read and write.
